ce vendredi, parlons d'argent

 

ce n'est pas un sujet en lien direct avec la créativité, mais tout de même, qu'on le veuille ou non, l'argent fait partie de notre vie.

 

négocier son salaire, comment font les autres, les femmes surtout? que se passe-t-il à une table de négociation? c'est un sujet tabou la plupart du temps.

 

de là mon intérêt pour cet article du new york magazine «How to Negotiate a Salary, According to 25 Famous Women» de Charlotte Klein et Julie Ma. bien sûr, le point de vue est américain, mais nous allons toutes et tous y trouver quelque chose. en voici quelques extraits:

«According to research from Glassdoor, 68 percent of women accepted the salary they were initially offered and did not negotiate.»

 

«I went over and interviewed with Goodyear in 1978, and I worked for Goodyear Tire Company for 19 years before I found out that the males were making 40 percent more than I was making for working the same job.»
